Queer Newark

The Queer Newark Oral History Project will host a conversation about Newark transgender history, featuring some of our interviewees, and a special tribute to Miss Pucci Revlon as part of the Newark Pride celebration.

Before her passing, she sat down with us to share her truth about living in Newark as a trans woman. This event will highlight her experiences with queer Newark clubs and the multiracial, multilingual community she grew up, and her memories of the North Jersey/NYC ballroom scene.
