On Queer Newark's Instagram Live, Kristyn Scorsone and Dominique Rocker discuss the importance of teaching LGBTQ+ histories in schools and offer tips and examples on how to use resources like the Queer Newark Oral History Project for educators.
Kristyn Scorsone (they/them) is a Ph.D. candidate in the American Studies program at Rutgers University-Newark, where they study LGBTQ+ history, African American women’s history, urban history, and public history.
